So....

I pretty much suck at blogging. I suppose it helps if you actually try to do it once in a while. Life is busy, busy, busy. Trying to finish (start!) knitting Christmas gifts, take care of my DD, work, and actually clean once in a while sort of drains a girl. I get a reprieve tonight though - going scrapbooking with my friends. Yes, I'm a dork, and yes, I realize it. Oh, and there will probably be Starbucks involved as well. Doesn't get much better....

At long last... Friday is here! It's been the longest week on record, I do believe. Went to my LYS yesterday and bought the most beautiful baby alpaca - I don't typically knit with expensive yarns, but I couldn't stop touching it. It's supposed to be a gift, but I don't know... I may keep it for myself. Probably not, but I sure will buy more.

First Post

So, I have a blog. Who'd have thunk it? Don't really know what I'll post here, but heaven knows I spend enough time reading other people's blogs, so maybe someone might actually be interested in mine. I intend to write about my knitting, which I don't get to do enough of, and I imagine you'll hear your fair share about my family. But seriously, can I get paid to knit? How about to read? Anyone want to take me up on that?
